Jessie Creek is a shiny new winery that is making its mark in New Jersey. Having opened to the public this summer, the winery, which boasts a bed and breakfast, currently has five wine varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Chambourcin, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The latter two are award-winning, but all their wines deserve awards. And their Chardonnay indeed makes the cut in my book! So does their Pinot Grigio, which smells strongly of ripe pear and taste unusually tropical--not at ALL like a dry white wine. Try it, you'll definitely like it!!
This blog, in keeping with the "writing korner" title, is a place for me to write about the various things that either reflect my interests and/or are interesting to me and thus would warrant preserving in the annals of time--kind of like a reporter's notebook of facts but less current. It's personal and not the writing portfolio side of my website but not so personal that it reveals much of anything about me, which I will save for my own journal I keep under my bed that only I can see. The details of my life are not the focus of this site, and they're unprofessional and immaterial to include in this arena.
